Washington, DC - Today, the Environment and Public Works Committee approved the nomination of Thomas Strickland for Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks of the Department of Interior during a business meeting. The EPW Committee held a nomination hearing for Mr. Strickland on Thursday, March 28. The nomination was approved by voice vote and now goes to the full Senate for consideration.
