BACKGROUND:
The U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee will host a field briefing Friday in San Diego to discuss the upcoming federal transportation bill. Senior staff for Committee Chairman Barbara Boxer (D-CA) will be present to hear testimony from community leaders and state government officials on local and state transportation priorities.
