WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW), announced that the committee will hold a business meeting on Wednesday Feb. 1 at 10:45 AM to consider Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, whom President Trump has nominated for administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

“After a very thorough vetting process, it is time that we vote on Attorney General Pruitt’s nomination to lead the EPA,” said Barrasso. “The committee has done its due diligence, and we should move his nomination forward. Mr. Pruitt has the right experience for the job and will make an excellent administrator of the EPA.”
