Washington, D.C. - Today, Senators Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, and David Vitter (R-LA), Ranking Member, introduced S. 601, the Water Resources Development Act of 2013 (WRDA). S. 601 will provide critical flood protection for communities across the country, and maintain the flow of commerce and the jobs that go with it. Senators Boxer and Vitter also announced that the EPW Committee is set to markup the legislation on Wednesday, March 20 at 10:00 AM ET in 406 Dirksen. The markup will be webcast live at https://www.epw.senate.gov starting at 10:00 AM ET.
