Inhofe Statement on EPA Nominee David Hill 

WASHINGTON, DC – Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, commented on today’s full committee business meeting party line vote to deny the nomination of David R. Hill to be Assistant Administrator and General Counsel of Environmental Protection Agency.  

“The unnecessary politicization of nominee David Hill today by the EPW committee does not bode well for the nominations of the next administration,” Senator Inhofe said. “Hill is very qualified to be EPA’s General Counsel and party politics should not have been allowed to defeat his nomination.”
