PIERRE—U.S. Senator Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Subcommittee on Superfund, Waste Management and Regulatory Oversight, announced today he will chair a subcommittee hearing on August 30, 2016, in Rapid City. The hearing, entitled, “Oversight of the Impact of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPW) and Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Regulations on Citizens’ Private Property Rights,” will focus on how EPW and FWS regulations, particularly the Waters of the U.S. Rule and the Endangered Species Act, affect private land rights. The media and public are invited to attend.
