WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW), praised the Senate’s confirmation of David Ross to serve as the assistant administrator for the Office of Water at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); and Matthew Leopold to serve as assistant administrator for the Office of General Counsel at the EPA.

“I am glad the Senate took action to confirm David Ross and Matthew Leopold,” said Barrasso. “I am especially pleased that we will have someone in charge of the EPA’s Office of Water who has worked for the state of Wyoming and knows the state and its people well.

“The Environmental Protection Agency needs its full leadership team confirmed and in place. Both Mr. Ross and Mr. Leopold have the right qualifications and expertise to help lead the agency that protects America’s water, land, and air.”
