“I am pleased to welcome Sen. Barrasso to the EPW Committee,” Senator Inhofe said. “Wyoming was blessed to have a true champion on energy and environmental issues in Senator Craig Thomas.  I look forward to working closely with Senator Barrasso on the EPW Committee to build upon Senator Thomas’s accomplishments and to continue to make progress on issues such as increasing domestic energy production and reforming the Endangered Species Act. Furthermore, Senator Barrasso has a distinguished record back in Wyoming working on the state’s transportation infrastructure needs as the Chairman of the Transportation, Highways, and Military Affairs Committee in the State Senate.
