Sen. Boxer’s Statement on the
  Vermont Global Warming Decision 
   

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, today made the following remarks in response to the federal district court decision supporting the efforts of the states of Vermont and New York to cut global warming pollution from cars:

Senator Boxer said: “Today’s decision in the Vermont case is a clear cut victory for cleaning up the environment and combating global warming. It’s a good day for the American people.”
