U.S. Senator Boxer's Statement on the Latest IPCC Climate Report

Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, released the following statement in response to the new Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) Working Group III report, which assesses the options available for mitigating the impacts of climate change.

Senator Boxer said: "The newest IPCC report shows a wide range of options to cut carbon pollution, including the use cost-effective clean energy. The longer we wait to act, the harder and more expensive it will be."
