Two years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001 we continue to secure America at home. I have introduced three bills this year to address these needs, including the Nuclear Infrastructure Security Act, Wastewater Treatment Works Security Act and the Chemical Security Act. They represent significant steps in addressing the various security needs at nuclear, wastewater and chemical treatment facilities. These bills are an important part of the broad, concerted effort to bolster the nation's defenses against terrorism.
